For best results, follow these tips: Avoid exposing the spa to temperatures below 40°F, turn off the control box every 48 hours to allow it to cool, use a 12/3 extension cord if necessary (otherwise, plug directly into an outlet), and connect to a designated 20 AMP plug during use (heater requires 1200 Watts, bubbles require 600 Watts).
